Who We Are

Located at East Hall, the Engineering Living Learning Community is a collaborative effort between the Department of Housing and Residence Life and the College of Engineering. The Resident Assistants in East plan and implement programs specifically geared toward engineering majors – both academic and social.

  • Identify

    Identify resources for academic support, leadership/involvement in engineering, and undergraduate experience enhancement.

  • Collaborate

    • The Engineering LLC builds an environment where students can come together to colloborate on engineering-related projects. During spring semester, residents can work together to participate in “Build It Wreck It” week.

  • Campus Involvement

    One of our core goals is getting students involved with faculty in engineering fields and encourcaging student involvement in engineering student organizations.

  • Exam Prep

    The Broward Teaching Center holds study sessions for courses including MAC 2311: Calculus 1, MAC 2312: Calculus 2, CHM 2045: General Chemistry 1, PHY 2048: Physics 1 with Calculus, PHY 2049: Physics 2 with Calculus.

  • Study Space

    The ground floor of East Hall includes a quiet study room with internet access and a meeting room for group study. There is also a new space known as the “Engineering Design Space” for student organizations and groups to host meetings and collaborate on projects located on the ground floor next to the laundry room.

The Engineering LLC located at East Hall provides engineering students the resources to succeed academically as well as collaborate and build a community with other engineering students. Students who join our community will have the opportunity to discover a group of peers committed to academic success.
